K-8 Elementary School seeking full time second shift Custodian to clean the school and perform minor maintenance. General cleaning of bathrooms, classrooms, offices, gym and halls daily. Must be able to work independently and be a self starter. Must be fingerprinted by the Department of Education or willing to do so within 20 days from date of hire. This position is a year round position/ 40 hours per week.

260 days/ 40 hours per week/ 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Candidate must have experience in a computer network support role, preferably in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus, experience supporting Mac OS X and Windows networks, familiarity with the Maine Learning Technology Initiative, and a working knowledge of network design, administration and trouble shooting. The District network/Computer Technician will act as part of a team to support the computer operations of the district and the daily use of classroom technology. Periodic travel through out the District will be required. Apple certification desired but not required. Must be fingerprinted by the Dept.of Education .

**FREEPORT MIDDLE SCHOOL AND DURHAM COMMUNITY SCHOOL**
Literacy Strategist
Grades 6-8
The selected candidate will have a strong history of successful literacy instruction experience, strong leadership and facilitation skills, experience with data analysis, and demonstrable knowledge of research based best practices in content-area literacy skills and strategies in middle school literacy instruction. The following are preferred for candidates to have; knowledge of readers/ writer’s workshop, understanding of standards based learning, maters in literacy, have experience leading professional development. The strategist will work with ELA teachers in Grades 6-8. They will work with content area teachers on embedding literacy into the instruction. They will be able to use data to help inform instruction. Must 092 Literacy Specialist certification.
